Thean, you make some good points concerning TA.

It just seems to me that in the long run, it's the fundamentals of the company that win out. However, when you are dealing with a commodity situation like we have here, fundamentals rarely matter to the masses. I learned this with chips several years ago. What bothers me here is that the drilling/service industry seems to be so different from the chip makers...yet the sector is acting exactly the same.
