Mylan sent a 2 or 3 page letter to a pharmacist friend of mine, explaining their posisition, and reiterating that they were only
increasing 7 MORE drugs.. True there were only 2 that are popular,
the rest are slow, dog movers, but I guess they are taking advantage of this.

1 example of a fast mover..
Clorazepate 7.5mg used to cost me about 2.50/100
the same exact bottle now costs in the 40 dollar range..
so, using my math, Mylan now has to see just 1 bottle now, in which before they had to sell about 15 or so... Major price increases. I forsee this to spill over to other generic companies ( most owned as a subsidiary of a brand namer) to increase their prices. Alprazolam has doubled in price to us, and lorazepam has gone up dramaticaly also. Not because of exactly Mylan, but if you follow my logic, they are taking the lead that Mylan started...

We will see....
