Ho hum,.... another $165 million dollar infrastructure contract... all in a days work... STOCKHOLM -- Swedish telecommunications company Telefon AB LM Ericsson (ERICY) said Monday it signed GSM expansion contracts worth $165 million with network operator Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH of Germany. The network expansion contracts cover infrastructure supplies and services for base station systems, operation and maintenance systems, AXE switching systems and microwave transmission. 'It's very important for Ericsson ... to continue the business with Mannesmann as a strategic partner in the area of GSM,' Karl A. Alsmar, president of Ericsson GmbH in Germany, said in a written statement.
