Actually, I agree with you on the advertising point. Their business
strategy has to be the following:

(1) Market like crazy, build brand name
(2) Expand and grow like mad.
(3) Then, once the base is built, start backing off on advertising
(as a percentage, not in absolute)
(4) Big time profits

Step 4 is year 2000+. I can wait..

AMZN is has more online sales than ANY other company. They have a
2 1/2 year lead. They know how to do e-com, and have a strong
brand name on the internet. The rest will follow.. Just lay back
and watch it unfold. The company is the strongest out of any in
the 'internet batch' of stocks. (IMO)

B&N and Basmkeind(sp?) ;) will kill their profits trying to switch
to this model. Just wait and see.

Also, on your last point: << hahaha >>

Of course you will be right sometime, no stock goes up forever.
I'd say 4-5x from here is when the shorters may have a shot..
