That movie brought back old memories of riding around in a VAN with a lab system for months to prove out the system. Heck, I even DROVE the van in those days. this was the early days of CDMA at Qualcomm. Trouble was when we were at that stage, it was 1989, there were 500 people at Qualcomm and we had almost no buearacracy. A group of us took about 50 engineers and went off to make this stuff a real product. 6.5 years later we rolled it out to full production.

It will be interesting to see how Ericy gets this stuff out more than just the lab system....
