Please explain to me how a specialist controls the price of stock. I must be very naive to know that order flow controls price. No one individual can do this it comes from the order flow and that order flow is generated upstairs in the trading rooms of brokerage houses. You contend that you understand the auction market yet you don't. The specialist is watched more closely by the NYSE and SEC than anyone. These are not rigged audits but actual computer generated monitoring of every move a specialist makes. These people that You know on the floor, what capacity are they to know?
