REH, Thank you for an excellent post. Microsoft and Compaq (and Intel ?) are facing competition from set-top boxes for new generation of television, that are addressing the remaining 60% of US homes that have not yet bought a PC, and do not thus need incremental compatibility to existing PCs (they probably hate them, that's an interesting marketing hedge). MIPS and SGS-Thomson might have a nice home run there. I am curious to see how MSFT (my heritage stocks) will handle this new coming shift. I think that they will, better than the Paq or the Tel. Fortunately, RMBS leverages its business model on all fields, PCs, games and TVs, as you mentioned. Regards, MiB
