I seems the natives are restless. Even a newbie can feel the tension. OK so FTEL has not performed as well as expected. And ya every day we see another fraction or two shaved from the share price. But do not lose faith in FTEL. They no what they have to do to compete in this volatile market. Heck Frank just stumbled into IP telephony, they use to make modems for heaven sake. So what does FTEL need...well one thing I can think of is
Controlling software!
It sound to simple to be true. But it is one the major reasons FTEL has been slow out of the gate. FTEL is a hardware, not a software company. Hell the IP box I tested just a few months ago was using UNIX. Whats the deal with that! It was not user friendly, it had no wizard that took you thru setup, step by step. There was no billing system, no reporting capability, it lacked a call back integration, there was no account generation, no way to access accounts, no least cost routing table, it did not support multiple languages, no voice mail, email or web integration, and I can go on and on and on.
Do you think the guys at Franklin know this....
Hey, I remember reading something in this group just the other day about FTEL talking with a company that makes controlling software for the telephony industry. I wish I could remember that guys name!
Anyhow keep the faith.
And also...I have received some valuable information regarding FTEL. I will post it once I have checked it out. Stay tuned!
