I agree. I believe that NI is in Seattle because that's where the "cell sites in the sky" are being developed. Granted, the public skinny is that Teledesic is for land line use only, but it becomes clearer each day that the Trinity of Seattle has more up their sleeve than that. LMDS, while domestic, somehow hints at NXTL's strategy, both nationally and internationally. We'll find out how much they're willing to say at the annual meeting.
Here's some food for thought: If you, a multi-billionaire and the number one aircraft manufacturer, privately owned a LEO company, would you be planning to integrate the business vertically (no pun intended) and horizontally by buying public companies (NXTL & NXLK) and owning them privately? In the light of the QWST-LCI merger, there's food for thought.
