Morning Princess Jan,

Let me see if I can correctly express what I believe Bobster and I are trying to define.

Tom says in his book that it is best to find a stock who's RS has just turned positive. I however have looked and do not see and cannot tell for sure if he is refering to the RS signal or the column of X's as being the turning POSITIVE. This could be on of our sticking points.

Second, I believe that Bobster is trying to define that if a stock has just turned positive and should be in a strong up trend for some time there after..... Would the converse not be true that a stock that had turned to RS SELL a long time ago,(say 5-6 years) generally be ready to turn positive and therefore we could ignor this RS SELL signal.

What I attempted to say, was that in the particular case of NEWP I believe that this could be done(ie ignor the RS SELL) as the stock is within 2 points of turning POSITIVE. However, NEWP's RS number is 2.17 and has ranged from a low of 1.25 to a high of 2.5 thus, if it's RS number were closer to the low side of 1.25 rather than about to give a new buy signal I would think it prudent to give higher precidence to the RS signal.

Now, in the four stocks you so delightfully selected, this same question arrises. Both AGPH and CTAL have RS SELL signals in a column of X's.

The Ball Is IN YOUR COURT TEACH!!!!!!!!

Have some coffee warm your keyboard and THINK.

Most humbly
Preston
