David - "IF" apple goes into a serious sales decline? Hello?? Apple sales have declined 25% from the similar quarter last year. Apple was the only vendor to have lost market share of the top 10 pc vendors. I would have to say that is a serious sales decline. people are not lining up to buy Powerbooks once the EPA has certified that they are not fire hazards - when will Apple fall below 5% market share - are they losing money for every mac they sell? Gilbert Amelio has stuffed the channel - this will hurt aapl next quarter - Frau spindler didnt do that - he cared about product to the detriment of the company - now amelio cares about profit to the detriment of the company.
