perhaps this it at the core of our difference of opinion on VVUS. I disagree. Either Viagra will be a super drug, or it's limitations will be recognized within weeks of its release. Doctors who prescribe this drug will, within a very short time frame, realized what its potential is, and the patients best suited for it. I see many new products in my office during the course of the year, many of which i don't ever try, because of feedback either through professional journals or associates of mine.

Several quarters? I think weeks.

And i would also mention that typically, when one company benefits from good press, ie PFE and Viagra upon approval, other companies in the same sector also benefit by a rise in share price. VVUS may actually go up in price upon approval of Viagra.
