Sorry guys, I don't have any "inside scoop" except to say that the possible (repeat possible) change in the laws affects the entire Canadian industry and it is one of the reason the industry has grown rapidly. I'm sure they'll all band together and gain the support of those legislators who support the tax break. After all it provides mucho jobs (=votes) and money into Canada ultimately. Do you really think X-files would be filmed in Vancouver except for some of the breaks?

Anyway, this seems to pop up every other year. Also, this just means you have to sell a few more international rights or get partners in to produce the shows --it's not the end of the world and it's probably doesn't have much of a chance of passing.
