Al, I agree w/ your take on the 4th qtr. and feel a small loss (or even a small gain) will have little effect on the stock. The guidance for the 1st qtr. and the year will be much more important. I would not anticipate the 4th qtr. release this week, however. I was told the accountants just recently finished up the audit and headed back to the home office; this took one to two weeks longer than originally estimated, so look for the filing prior to month end (they have 90 days from yr. end for the 10K) but not too much prior.
On a separate matter, ALYD was visited by two sell-side analysts recently- both work for respected firms and follow many other Y2K stocks. The one I spoke w/ was impressed with the infrastructure that has been set up to prepare for the crush of business when panic sets in. He thought they had one of the more automated tools out there and a good grasp of the intricacies of code gathering and conversion. The other analyst is still traveling, but seemingly also was impressed. Yet a third cancelled this week (BOO!). Who knows whether any coverage will result- I'm just glad analysts are starting to take the time to find out for themselves that ALYD is for real; this then gets reflected in the way they speak about the company when potential investors ask about Alydaar.
