"AMGN(54 1/2) rumored a takeover target for MRK" I received this note from www.stockrumors.com at Mar 9 13:00. Possibly explains heavy volume. I haven't been following AMGN but noted the large number of outstanding shares. Any comments on possibility of takeover?
