SUNRISE, Fla., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Equinox Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: EQNX - news) today announced that the IBM Corporation (NYSE: IBM -
news) will incorporate Equinox SuperSerial communications products into systems that IBM will supply for the U.S. Postal Service's ''Point-of-Service

During 1998, IBM will supply the U.S. Postal Service with approximately 11,000 systems, custom configured with Equinox SuperSerial products installed
in a Microsoft Windows NT environment. The Microsoft-certified NT compatible Equinox hardware and driver software will provide connectivity with
system peripherals such as Portable Data Terminals.

Bill Dambrackas, President and CEO of Equinox commented, ''Being selected by the world's largest computer company to be part of the world's largest
point-of-sale project is certainly an accomplishment to be very proud of. We look forward to working with IBM on this important project as well as other
