Anyone familiar with 2nd step conversions... Two banks in NJ, namely, First Savings Bank and Trenton Savings Bank, are being offered this month, believe due date to pay is end of march... Anyway, stock(s) already trade, FSLA & TSBS respectively... Are these 2nd steps usually as good as regular thrift IPO's, or is the premium in general less..

Also, if you already own the stock, ie. FSLA, you get some of the offering stock at some conversion rate, something like 2.5 - 3.9 seems like a losing proposition to start with.. .any advice or comments on such matters greatly appreciated....
