I just took a quick look at my manual. Metastock files will NOT be overwritten by new, corrected data. It's necessary to go in and dump the bad data manually, then feed it the new stuff.

To my knowledge, this hasn't been much of a problem with my current vendor (but, how would I know). I occasionally see volume figures that are way out of whack, or a high (low) that goes off the chart. I can find these in IBD and fix easily.

I'm more curious about how often this happens with QP. Is it a fairly common occurrence? Nightly? Weekly? Anyone using Metastock converting from QP run into this...and a solution? Thanks, Ken
