if you go to seek's 1 day chart (big), look at 12:45 and notice a quick spike down, people who had stop loss orders in were
"taken out", the market makers bot these relative cheap shares and they knew, or allowed, the stock to rise. i was taken out of western digital yesterday for a loss.
my trading partner wanted to enter a stop loss on seek this a.m. at 22 and try to buy back in, i recommended that we not do it because if the stock took off there would have been a chance for the mm's to take us out and run the stock higher without an opportunity to buy in except at a higher rate, inretrospect, he was right, could have sold at 22 and get back in under 21.
i made the wrong call, tho we got into seek at 16 so i / we made the right call that time.
