The stock is rigged by early investors in Zonagen...such as the Petrus fund. When only a few individuals control a large chunk of a stock's float, it is very simple to keep prices artificially inflated by:

a) Sitting on the shares.
b) Lending out a little stock, then calling it in - generating a short squeeze.
c) Lending out a lot of stock, and then selling a little at a time...generating a short squeeze by effectively calling in shares, and then selling them back to the same short sellers who are trying to cover!

I believe we are in the middle of scenario (c). That's exactly why the price/volume activity seems so unusual.
