Alan, <<How about Nortel/Cisco/NetSpeed vs. Lucent/Ascend/Westell in the "Battle of the Network Stars." >> Netspeed and Westell both have CAP modems with several years of testing. I believe they do not have DMT yet. Since RBOCs are commited to DMT it seems to me that Lucent/Ascend/Awre might be more likely, unless WSTL is bought just for the sake of GTE and BA contracts. What do you think would be WSTL take over price ?
