Viewers (over 25,000 hits) must like what they see. Since the site was set up, a little over a month ago, LGND has gained over 5 points or about 45%."
Henry, with all due respect, I think this is going a little bit overboard. Folks should bear in mind that for each of Henry's web pages, each "viewer" equals, at my count, 3 "hits": one for the page itself, and two for each of the graphic images at the bottom of the page.
So, 10,000 hits means approximately 3,333 "views". Figure 5-10% are probably Henry himself, and you're left with about 3000 views. Likewise, 15,000 hits means approximately 5,000 page views.
Here's hoping that Henry isn't implying that there is a correlation between the rise in LGND stock price and the appearance of his web pages. I would heavily doubt any such correlation.
I appreciate all the work Henry does to organize and collect information for people interested in Ligand stock, believe me. It's just that sometimes I think Henry gets a wee little bit over-enthustiastic. :-) |
