First of all i can't tell you how much I appreciate TOM & Your quick response to all of our questions...Thanks so much!!!
TOM you hit me over the head with a 2X4!!! Oh yeah I've been hit there before, don't let me kidd you<gggg>>....But really for a guy that's been in these crazy markets for 15-20 years, the answer to my option question was wonderful....
All this time i was trading in and out, weekly, hey even daily...NOT a GOOD MOVE!!! i see what your saying about buying/or putting together a nice option portfolio, based on the simple equation of::: IF you like the stock, buy the option, and HOLD!!!!
Gee whiz, that's simple enough HUH????? all this time i've been trading like a mad man...My fear & greed, and most of all my emotions, always controlled my actions...When in reality all I or we have to do...Is buy the option, based on careful stock selection, of course using P&F<GGGG>> and then let them run into expiration, looking for the exact same result as owning the underlining stock....
KISS----"Keep it simple stupid"<g>...fits me to a tee<VBG>...Oh hey, I can pickem' with the best!!! but somehow I screw the trade up by selling WAY TOO soon for one stupid reason or another...I often let the "noise" throw me off...We'll NO MORE!!!
I can't tell you how much I need that!!!!
BTW the first 4 stocks were 2 calls--CA & IMNX and 2puts ASMLF & KLIC...i didn't put them in any order...
TOM, you're great!!! From a 56 year old investor/trader I owe you guy<g>...Next time your in Phila, let me know, I'll take you to dinner at one of our terrific resturants in Center City...
