mph, I think your general approach makes a lot of sense. I've got a pretty well-diversified portfolio, and I've periodically rebalanced it by buying the drillers. I began about a year ago with VRC at $11, and since then I've added ESV and GLM, and increased my positions as I accumulated more cash. My general time horizon is forever in the view of many investors. Unless the fundamentals of a company show what I perceive to be a structural erosion I don't sell. I still own companies that I bought in the 60's, and T that I inherited (why pay taxes to sell it? -- someone once quipped to me that "capital gains is the only voluntary tax").

Regards,

Paul
