Bruce,the reason is this,the stock is hot,never been better,and
when stocks split at the right time(and this is the right time),they
often run-up rapidly both before and after the split--I think if it split
now,say 2-1,I think,in this BULL market,the stock will double again
in 12months,The point being,it makes the stock easier to buy and will
appreciate faster.The dividend will be smaller per share,but for those
who are in the split,it doesn't matter because of the multiple.That is my opinion,and I don't think it is an unreasonable one.max90 |
