Unless the stock is down from here at the split, you will not get more shares for the same money. ie:

100 @ $130 = $13000
3:1 split @130 on 100 = $43.33 on 300
if you spend $13000 you get 300 shares

Obviously, if the price is lower at split you can get more shares, if it is higher, you get fewer. If you think the stock is up from here, then it is better to buy now and run the whole way. You will be better off with more run up on more shares.
