Dear John - never heard of this combo before (BAY to LU and PAIR to LU are the most common <VBG>)

If memory serves, actually it is very interesting - and maybe one should give due credit to Messr Chambers - for Netspeed came from the left field, so to speak, and landed a deal with US West (?) who was dealing with PAIR for awhile. However, this is just the beginning, the same deal also includes Paradyne, who has struck a reseller relationship with BAY. So is PAIR left out in the cold, I don't know? So is Messr Chambers trying to one upmanship with BAY, with respect to US West?

A disclaimer, all these work off from memory, which has never been good, let alone the mental carpal tunnel syndrome induced by the repeated volatility of the stk mkt <VBG>
