E: I agree LSI should not be affected by the SVGI problems (now I feel glad I sold SVGI - maybe I won't have to rue the day I sold my SVGI - I don't know what's going on there - they are still very very busy). Two bad omens today - a 2 million share day and that large put volume. Probably does not bode well. LSI is my frozen chicken derailing what was once a very good return. But I actually don't mind. Honest. Since post earnings c.call I have said I thought the stock would come back. I was willing to gamble for the quick 20% return to $30. Did not happen. The behests for "more volume" did not materialize - fell on dead chicken's ears so to speak. And now we are back where we started. Actually a bit more than back come to think of it. Still Wilf Baby would not have bought at 23 if he did not think things were turning around. Don't you love the comfort of insider buys? I do!!!! Bought at 25 knowing that if things went poof near term there is a good chance 25 is a fine long term price. Also bought at 24 and 26. Average 25. I think that's the lowest I have ever had LSI. Unless buasiness at LSI has ground to a halt (and I don't think it has) I don't think we'll get an earnings warning. But something's wrong somewhere. I'm busy trying to piece together the jigsaw that is the PC demand story. Not sure if there may be a consumer electronics connection as well. That may be the case but this would be really tricky to determine. As far as I see it that may be the one frozen chicken to derail LSI's oncoming bullet train. TSO's pulled one of his patented vanishing tricks again - poof! Shane.
