Hi All

I have just heard a rumour that they are flaring at the ESSO well right now and it is pretty orange. Which I take to mean that at least some oil is present. Any scouts out and about tonight?

Also I could use another lesson in oil/gas well procedures. I assume from what has been posted that the natural gas would burn fairly clear, and that an orange tinge to flare indicates heavier hydro-carbons; i.e. oil.

Is there any way of telling from the flare if the gas is sour? Is there a sulfur dioxide odour for example?

Now if we can only get the market excited!!!

Later

Keith
