Hi Bearcat, just shows you how far I am away from high school chemistry. I had it in my head that SO2 was 'rotten egg gas' and as such would of course be easy to detect!!

I don't know how big a deal sour gas is anyway, other than being a cost of production factor and running up Alberta's excess sulfur supply.

As far as oil removed to tankage, I hope lots!!! I don't think the field scouts could determine that but it would be nice to know.
