I didn't get the dates from your post. Anyone who has ever bought product from Oracle knows that the FY ends May 31 (my birthday, some coincidence...). In late April/early May, the Oracle sales rep who you haven't spoken to in months (or years) calls you up and offers incredible discounts on products you are not quite sure you need, as long as you can get a PO cut and faxed to him/her before May 28/29/30. I always try to get my clients to put off new Oracle server license purchases until the end of Oracle's 4th quarter. It's like buying gift wrap and Christmas cards on December 26!

So...

Regardless of if the numbers for Q3 turn out to be good (and they better be or Larry is in deep doo-doo), I think that tools revenue and services revenue will be up in Q4 because the sales force is VERY motivated, there is new product to sell, the client base actually wants to buy it and it requires some help getting up to speed.
