One of the biggest mistakes is to treat these Y2000 companies as growth companies rather than cyclical companies like Chrysler ... these Y2k tools/conversion aid companies have at most a 3 year growth cycle, then they have to wait again for the prince's kiss ... Consulting companies fare better because of all the support work that's going to be involved, but these companies operating margins are like 5% of revenues ...
