Well, Joe, you are right. That January call was certainly amazing. I asked the thread a few posts back if anyone could comment on the significance of that call and nobody responded. The big difference between this market call and any previous one Brinker has made was the precision. You could set your watch to it. It was more reliable than the weatherman forecasting the weather <g> 12 hours in advance. As I recall, previous gifthorses or buying opportunities were often vague. Rallies to new highs would be vaguely predicted by saying something like: "The correction will last a few months and we will see a rally to new highs by the end of the spring season." Not this time. Brinker said the rally would begin at the end of January or early February as I recall. He said we would rally to new highs on all the major indexes with big caps leading (especially in technology) by March. Here we are today and everything was right on target. Nobody else in the investment community made that call to my knowledge. Sure, there were good bullish arguments made by the likes of Abby Joesph Cohen. But Brinker made the exact call like nobody else. Nobody in the media has given him credit. Not many here on this thread have done so either.

What more do we want? So now not only do people on the thread want him to make the great call, they want him to wear a dress while doing it and act real nice (just kidding)? I wonder if the majority of people who bought the Beardstown ladies' book were woman. I think so. I got that book as a gift long ago (from a woman) and the damn thing sure does make a good coaster but I have not opened it. Maybe the thread wants the Goddess back. She aimed at and appealed to the female audience: "Call me so we can discuss your feelings about money and weather you need professional help with your affairs financial. Buy my book Making Change. Let's talk." I'd betcha the Goddess would have told that woman to buy Microsoft just like she was lump summing folks into the market at record highs. Oh, God, save me from the Goddess.
