Robert - You are exactly right. As long as users can't freely use the same off the shelf software on any box, then they are stuck with the Intel standard. How difficult will it be for MSFT to produce a version of NT (or multiple versions, one for each platform) where off the shelf software can be used on the NT box without requiring the user to recompile/reconfigure it? Will a user ever be able to buy off the shelf software and use it on any NT box or are the technical hurdles for MSFT too big? Aaron
