Oh, please. Who cares what people like Tom Kurlak or Rick Whittington (sp?) say. If you step back a couple feet and look at Whittington, for instance, he'll say one thing on Tuesday, and do a 180 on Thursday of the next week. The only ones who profit from these sages pronouncements are those who get the news first and trade right away, while all others who followed their advise get caught holding the bag.

What happened to long-term analysis? Just by virtue of the importance placed on these guys' every breath makes their pronouncements the issue, and the value and potential of the underlying stocks are ignored. The cult of personality that's allowed these guys to become stars drives them to make more foolhearty projections as their egos enter the picture, thus discounting the reliability of what they say.
