I have been thinking about the markets, and about music! If I could understand music, I might be able to relate it to music, but I cannot, since I do not understand music. Although I intuitively suspect that there is music in the markets, I cannnot convert the markets to music. This is a very interesting concept to me and I would like for someone to play cotton or pork bellies, or gold or silver to me.
Do not leave me here, for in this I am not wrong. Who in playing music would to expect to play continually higher and higher movements and bars and notes with little variation. Pretty boring, perhaps. Play the DOW for the last 15 years for me and see what you find. Nature loves a melody, and I find none there!
Nature is beautiful and I truly love the melodies that it produces. There is no excess in nature which is not quickly and naturally corrected. Above nature there is another force which I will not approach in this discussion. I rest assured that it is there, and that its operator will never be accused of any culpability!
