I once invested in a company for a variety of reasons. One of them was because Mr. Gates had invested in it. The name of the stock was Ligand Pharmaceuticals.

I sold the stock a while ago, but Mr. Gates does make a good bedfellow, for stocks, that is. Ligand has been doing very well.

Anyway, I sure don't mind him teaming up with NCR.

The day I read about NCR on the Insider Trader was the same day I saw an old, empty box on the sidewalk near my house just waiting to be picked up by the trash. The box had NCR written all over it...so I figured it was a good sign.

Heck...people do buy stocks for all sorts of reasons!<G>
