Next Generation Computer with Boeing

Interesting post on Yahoo #270 IRSN. Writer notes that defense contractors usually come up with innovative products and how they often end up being commercially available. The solid-state computer developed by Boeing, using IRSN parts, could be a significant development. First army use, then police, fire, or commercial use. Computer is solid state, size of deck of cards but has the power of a workstation. IBM clone technology is 18 years old, (like Dell, CPQ, etc) but this new solid-state computer is the first big advancement in computer technology. Check post #270 for details.
