I really do think that most of these games as you know have a pretty short lifespan. Once people buy the game and play it over and over again, the next release can never be as good. I think this announcement will focus the company's attention on the future, and that they need to create other hit games like WCW sooner. Companies that just try to milk the same thing that worked in the past doesn't cut it. Look at past toy companies with one hot product for historical purposes. I know that THQ will now be very focused on a new lineup, and by making their decision I believe they bet they can do better with other newer games vs. a cost basis. If you pay out a big sum and sales slowdown next year, you haven't spent money wisely. There is always a positive way to look at the same story. Today's announcement of a new game is just some of what I think we will see a lot more of. New games that Todd or others haven't even figured in. Who knows what will happen to the stock in the short run, but I would not rule out Farrell to keep the pipeline rolling with other big sellers. He got the WCW deal just a year ago, why can't he do something like that again. Remember this industry is ever changing and that is the norm to keep growing. Last year we thought Gameboy, This year WCW, Next year..???
