Torben,

Re: <<Condensed into one word: ''Sophrosyne". And I make no apologies for using an ancient tongue; it is simply the most appropriate word I can think of.>>

I have no opinion regarding whether any apologies are called for; but a translation for those of us not familiar with the ancient tongue might have been helpful. If the word means that the people who post here regularly post too damned often and produce a thread that's almost entirely worthless for investment research (was this a concern of ancient peoples?) - then I agree. IMO, the common failing among the regular posters here, putting aside questions of manners and civility, is their common failure to grasp that in many things, especially communication, oftentimes less is more. (Assuming that the intention is to communicate.)

For a while, my preferred strategy for dealing with this thread was to simply display the new message titles, hit return to subjectmarks, and reset the count. Since the price has been rising recently (I'm long a few shares), I now take greater interest. I display the new message list (usually around 150), go to the bottom, and start reading the messages at around 10 from the last. If anything seems interesting, I make my way back through the links. The word sophrosyne looks interesting. In what dictionary might I find it?

Regards and tia,
John
