Welcome to EAGL Sylvain, this is certainly a good buying opportunity.
Get-um while their down.
eg:
Back in 1994 Costco's (COST) merger with Price Club was not working out, management could not mesh and they bickered. Same store sales stalled and the company was written off by Wall Street.
The old Price management spun-off the real estate division for $600 million and split. A dark time for any company....

At that time Costco stock was about $15, but it's done well since then -- it's now the 7th largest retailer in the US.

I think EAGL is in the same 'quality level' as Costco in management and in understanding the customer.

Any of you Puget Sounders remember the old Ernst stores? :(
That chain was just begging to die... ugly displays, poor lighting, and it seemed like one employee covered the entire sales floor.

The people that left Ernst to build Eagle KNOW what the customer wants.
I stopped in an Eagle store this past weekend to pick up a bottle of 'Resolve' carpet cleaner... they had both the trigger spray and spray can types... I could not find these in a couple other stores I checked even though Dupont recommends it as the best product.

The product selection at Eagle is incredible, nuts and bolts second to none, at least a dozen AC power plugs when most stores have only a few, etc.
The displays, like the kitchen section, are very inviting to just walk though... Home Depot can't compare (one employee was polishing the faucet display while I was there). Also, with the Project Center for contractor sales/support I think they have both workday and weekend customers covered.

This company is a class-act in merchandising. I'm glad we can share it with other areas of the country through expansion.

We're heading for $30
