Boy, what a night. I just got back home from The Roxy, a club here in the City. I helped produce an invite-only publicity event for Casio and their G-Shock watches. Grace Jones sang live (to DAT taped music- no, she didn't lip-sync). There was a whole big S&M theme throughout the launch of, and in the Casio G-Shock ad campaign.
This includes leather, lots of rubber and vinyl, breasts, very pretty and very gay boys, fire-eaters, glass walkers, human pin cushions, sword dancers, all amid tons of business suits from the Ad firm and Casio.
Welcome to New York.
Anyway, I missed pretty much all of the Market's action today, but it sounds like I didn't miss much. Everything seems normal. IOM went down, DELL went up, Iomaniacs continue to miss the point. The point is, it's not how many Zips are sold, it's what the stock price does. |
