Right now, Quantum has the Bigfoot series which offers the best $$/Gig of anybody. A 5 1/4 disk has lots of disk real estate, so areal density can be a bit less, and older lower cost heads can be used. However, I don't think that this product family was designed to be selling for less than $100. I do know that there have been discussions of a super cheap drive, but I don't know how far it's gone. --UpwardBound
