Mr. Big: I agree with you, but, would old fashioned wireless work better?

For years I have been under the impression that the old fashioned wireless systems used the atmosphere, not line of sight, for transmissions. Thus, were better in remote areas that had less relay towers. Now I have found that I was wrong, the reason the old fashioned wireless systems worked farther is because of power. The radios and or towers were more powerfull, big battery packs and bigger towers.

Since cellular, old SMR wireless, Nextel proprietary all transmit by line of sight, it seems that interference should be a normal occurance. But, what do I know, I'm just a numbers guy, I'm a letters guy too, if I can use a spell checker.

The answer, make enough money so that when frustrations happen, you can afford to take them out on the phones, throw em, kick em, break em to bits, then show em to customers while wearing the green hats. I hate green hats.<VBG> Not cool looking.<VBG>

I leave you with this thought. Rule #1. "Don't take shit from inanimate objects"....it's bad enought you have to take it from people.(customers)
