Lease Sale 169 attracting attention The MMS reports that interest in Central Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale 169 may be running ahead of last year's record-breaking sale. Lease Sale 169 will be held March 18 and covers 4,180 blocks. The Offshore Oil Scouts Association is sponsoring radio broadcasts of the sale beginning at 8:45 a.m. The sale will be carried on KTSU (90.9 FM) in Houston, KNON (89.3 FM) in Dallas and KRVS (88.7 FM) in Lafayette. The New Orleans radio station that will carry the broadcast will be announced at a later date.
