Yes, indeed, Ameritrade is really stinking up the place. I entered an online buy thru them at 8:40 this am and their order status screen still shows the buy (2 hours later!) as an open order. I tried calling their automated phone status system to get a confirmation and kept getting a busy signal. Their has been no email confirmation of the buy. I called the other 800 number to speak to trade support and the recording said there would be a 5 minute wait. 15 minutes later someone finally answered the phone and gave me a confirmation. I got back online and entered a sell order of the same stock to take a quick profit. Same story, order status screen never updates, automated phone confirmation system constantly busy, no email confirmation, and another 20 minute wait, after being told it would be a 10 minute wait, to speak to a live broker to get a confirmation. Yes America, Ameritrade sux! RW o-a-o
