<<Also on this thread are some comments that say in effect, "SEBL will drop the SCOP product". Great. I'm sure every SCOP customer and worse, SCOP customer in the pipeline, is now thrilled.>>

What...because TD used that in his example, we are now in effect saying SEBL is dropping the SCOP product. How quick we are to jump on a statement that supports our position. I would hardly assume that because Trader Dave said it that it is reality. Sorry TD...but I know you don't make these decisions.<g>

That would be a great sales call. Here, let me show you this product. But don't worry, we're dropping it so maybe you don't want to buy it after all. At least give the people at sebl a little credit.

Just one other point I would like to raise. At least the customers and prospects know who bought scop. Consider that the possibility of vntv being acquired is a reality at some point. The rumors always surface. Could be next month could be next year. Is VNTV going to sign an agreement stating that they will always continue to support this product and technology in perpetuity...even for five or ten years. In the case of an acquisition?? I think not. They just can't make that kind of a commitment. Worse yet no one even knows who the acquiring company is. But certainly this might be a good way to handle this objection. Just some food for thought.....
