RT,

Depending on the method of payment the patient may be limited on getting more than on package at a time. Most HMO's limit how much you can get a once (frequently a months supply, how many packs is that?). It also depends on the prescription, if the doctor says no refills then they can only get one pack. TA can answer to what is SOP for refills on this type of drug.
