Jim, since you said we were getting to civilized here I will revert to my troglodyte personna and say "%$@&%" Jim, you are totally wrong! Your assertions are incorrect. I seriously suggest you get a copy of any introductory book on finance and read it! You will find that risk is defined as the standard deviation of the expected cash flows. Just as a line or a circle have mathematical definitions, so does risk. So, in order to avoid a semantic war I suggest a common vocabulary is in order. Regards, Paul
