i have used Prodigy's Strategic Investor at times. however, lately i've been doing my preliminary research from www.bloomberg.com and www.stocksmart.com. both sites offer a decent amount of info at no charge. if i like what i see initially then i dig further. the numbers i mentioned on ALRN came from stocksmart. good luck
